English Enhancement Programme (2026 EEP Student Timetables Attached)

The English Enhancement Programme (EEP) aims to boost the English language proficiency of first-year students before they commence their academic studies at BNBU. The program serves as a bridge from the general English learned in school to the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) required at the university level. Since English is the primary medium of instruction at BNBU, students' proficiency in English is crucial to their academic performance and success.

Organized by the SGE Centre for Foreign Languages, the program is an integral part of BNBU’s New Students’ Orientation each year. Students are divided into groups and attend daily English classes for about one week. These classes are highly interactive and cover all academic English language skills, such as listening, speaking, reading, writing, critical thinking, and unfamiliar vocabulary. Feedback from students has been overwhelmingly positive, with participants expressing excitement, motivation, and engagement in the class activities.

The 2026 SGE English Enhancement Programme will be held from August 27 to August 31, 2026. The 2026 EEP student timetables are attached below for your reference.
